You can ask us to delete your account and the data attached to it at any time, for any Moosian app, without giving a reason. This page covers every app we publish: pick your app below to open the page written for it, or follow the general steps underneath — they are the same for all of them.

Before you delete: cancel any subscription

Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription or an auto-renewing purchase. If you are paying for an app through Google Play or the App Store, cancel it separately in your store's subscription settings, or it will keep renewing and keep charging you after the account is gone.

How to delete your account

  1. STEP 1

    Delete it in the app, if the app offers that

    Where an app has an account screen, it carries its own delete action. Open the app, go to the account or settings screen and choose the delete option. The data described below is removed on the same terms as an email request.

    Or send a deletion request by email

    Email the app's own address — for example aromemor@moosian.com — with the subject line “Account Deletion Request – <App name>”, and include the email address associated with your account so we can find it. contact@moosian.com reaches the same inbox if you are unsure which app address to use.

  3. STEP 3

    We process it within 30 days

    We process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt and email you once the account and its data have been deleted. If we need anything to identify the account, we ask once, and the 30 days run from the point we have enough to act.

What is deleted

  • Your account profile and credentials
  • Content you created or uploaded inside the app
  • Your preferences and settings
  • Usage history and activity logs linked to your account
  • Any other personal data stored against your account

What may be retained

A small amount of information can outlive the account, only where the law requires it: records we must keep to comply with a legal obligation, and transaction and financial records kept for tax and accounting purposes, which under Hong Kong tax law are kept for up to 7 years. Remaining statistics are anonymised or aggregated so they no longer identify anyone. Retained records are not used to identify you. Each app's privacy policy carries the full retention terms.
